Recipent not found by Exchange Legacy encapsulated ....

 

 

 

If you face with above issue, it does mean that you have to refresh your address list. As far as I simulated alot for this issue and researched case happening this symptom, because of email account information's duplication. 

 

Example, your email system has been migrated to another platform, however; you still retain the same email address. ie john.doe@contoso.com in IBM Notes and john.doe@contoso.com in MS Exchange Server. Then you were told that your old email items should have exported to pst file and connect it to outlook client again in new profile created in the new mail environment. Addtionaly, your active directory server. I haven't ever seen enterprise that only some specific server or computer is infected by randsome ware. So what are you gonna do? if you are system administrator. There is no way to solve and step forward without recovering those systems from backup set.

 

Seemingly, in a end-user perspective, there is nothing changed, what if you reinstall email system in case of malfuctioning because of kind of randsome were affected whole entirely. Unless I am mistaken, if you didn't have any kind of backup for restoring your email box and system, then you might have to re-install and configure mail system starting over.

 

Then, advisory of company and your team manager also have you to reset it up to the same previous environment in terms of end-user experience. They do not want to change any sort of tiny thing, if you do? You would have been frustrated thounds of phone calling to your desk a day.

 

By the way, still user outlook has old email account information. Those are already meaningless and useless, rather it could be something makes a problem to your system. So, you have to download Offline Address List manually. At the moment, I would download it at the first rather than downloading it from the last changes.
